The Manchester LMC offers a range of support services which is available to all its subscribers. These services include:
- At an organisational level, in planning and discussions with the ICB, Area Team, GP provider organisations, Acute and Community Trusts and the Local Authority.
- Through a confidential advisory service. The areas in which the Confidential Advisory Service has been involved, are as follows:
- GPs who have been suspended
- Referrals to GMC
- Supporting practices dealing with patient complaints
- GPs whose performance gave NHS England Greater Manchester Team cause for concern
- GPs whose performance gave their partners cause for concern
- Partnership issues and disputes
- GPs undergoing issues with indemnity cover
- Practice list issues
- CQC reviews
