Dr. Tracey Vell - Chair

Tracey Vell has served on the LMC for 12 years since 1994 with election to the Executive and Finance Committee in 1998 and becoming Vice-Chair in 2002, culminating in her present position as Chair from 2006 onwards.

She is a partner in a city centre PMS GP practice , Surrey Lodge Group practice, which has 4 partners and 2 salaried practitioners.

Her other roles are as Deputy Chief Executive of Mastercall OOH Services Ltd., which was formed from Mandoc, which she initiated 10 years ago.

She has worked for the Deanery as Course Organiser, training GP registrars for 9 years. 

Tracey is married to Mike and has 2 children, Chloe 8 and Spencer 7. The family all enjoy horse riding and keep their own horses . Her other interests are most sports and music.
